B&B's in Tiverton
Situated at the confluence of the rivers Exe and Lowman in an area that has been settled since the stone- age, is the mid-Devon market town of Tiverton. The town owes much of its prosperity to the wool trade. It is surrounded by hills with histories of their own, such as Exeter Hill, once an Iron Age hill fort on which Cranmore Castle was later built and another hill site on which the originally Norman era but later remodelled Tiverton Castle still stands.
Check out Tiverton B&B's which today makes a great base from which to explore the town itself as well as nearby attractions such as Exmoor and the City of Exeter.
