We are set within stream bordered gardens in one and one quarter acres with no immediate neighbours, in North West Devon. The house offers a good standard of accommodation and privacy as we only take up to six guests. There is ample off road parking and storage for bikes. Visitors are welcome to make use of the garden for bird watching or just to relax in.

Inclusive breaks are available all year. Woodburning stove in living room make those winter breaks warm and cosy. Visitors are welcomed as part of the family and are invited to join us for meals.

SITUATION Ideally placed to explore the beautiful coastline and countryside of Devon and Cornwall. Easy access to Eden, Lost Gardens of Heligan, RHS Garden Rosemoor, Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor. We are less than three miles from the market town of Holsworthy which was first settled in Saxon times and is mentioned in the Domesday Book.

THINGS TO DO Water sports are available at Tamar Lakes and Roadford Reservoir and this is an excellent walking, cycling and fishing area. There are two golf courses within a 20 minute drive. In addition to the weekly cattle and pannier market and monthly furniture auction, Holsworthy has several major fairs throughout the year. The Cornish resort of Bude is 20 minutes drive away and is well known for its annual Jazz Festival. There are numerous other local attractions, including Adventure Parks, an Otter Sanctuary, Potteries, Fishing and Nature Trails.

ACCOMMODATION We have an ensuite double room with a 5' four poster bed, an ensuite twin room and a double room with a private loo and shower. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and colour TV.

FOOD Breakfast is normally served between 8 and 9am. Evening meals are available by arrangement. Where possible locally produced meat, fish, poultry & vegetables are used in our meals. Homegrown produce is used when available and homemade preserves are also available. Visitors are consulted regarding menus and sample dinner menus are available on request.

PRICES are per person and based on two adults sharing.

A £10 supplement on the Four Poster en-suite and £5 on the Twin en-suite rooms is charged if let as a single. No single supplement on the Double Room.

As we are owned by our three cats, Rufus, Orlando and Pyewacket we regret only cat loving dogs can be accommodated. Whilst we promise not to make cat-stroking compulsory during your stay we do promise comfortable beds, good home cooked food and a very warm welcome.
