Situation
Crossgreen Cottages are located in the very heart of tranquil countryside close to the Devon Cornwall border.

Launceston, the ancient capital of Cornwall, is close by, with its castle ruin, museum, market town shops, restaurants and a large supermarket. Within easy travelling distance is the magnificent and dramatic scenery of the North Cornwall and North Devon coast. There are family and surfing beaches in and around Bude. Much of the north coast is steeped in history and legend - discover small villages, harbours and a fascinating and scenic coastline.

The village of Lifton with shop / post-office, pub and award winning farm shop and restaurant is 2 miles. Easy, pleasant 30 minutes drive to the spectacular North Cornish Coast and Dartmoor.

Lower Cross Farm with Petals Place and Janes Place are all part of an attractively situated 21 acre smallholding in the heart of traditional English countryside. On the farm there are cattle, sheep and chickens, there is private woodland and a fishing lake stocked with Tench, Common Carp, Bream, Roach and Rudd for the use of visitors. The area has abundant wildlife, regularly seen are deer, badgers and herons. Mums, Dads and Children will love the experience of the real countryside. Take a ramble or a cycle ride (storage for your bicycles provided) in the quite country lanes around Crossgreen Cottages. Have a BBQ at home, both cottages have a private garden with picnic table, seating and BBQ facilities. Go coarse fishing in the lake at Lower Cross Farm.
