ACCOMMODATION Meadow Park is spacious, comfortably furnished and is centrally heated. It is open all year except for Christmas. All ground floor en suite rooms (two double and one twin- bedded) have extensive views and are equipped with tea / coffee making facilities and colour television. The separate bathroom (with fitted walk in shower) and toilet are also available for guests to use. A comfortable lounge is available at all times and guests can enjoy relaxing in the spacious garden. A full English breakfast is offered using local produce wherever possible. The local 13th. Century character thatched Inn is only a short stroll away for good pub food. There are also many other pubs and restaurants in the district providing a variety of good food, local cooking and not forgetting the traditional cream tea. THINGS

Bideford
- Approximately six miles to the north is the market town of Bideford
where fishing and cargo vessels moor at the quayside. Bideford quay
is also the departure point for the MS Oldenburg which provides day
trips for visitors to Lundy Island.
Barnstaple
- Barnstaple is around 15 miles from Buckland Brewer; its busy markets,
wide range of shops and award winning floral displays attract visitors
from miles around.
Appledore
- Near Bideford is the quaint fishing village of Appledore with its
history of ship building.
Westward
Ho! - On the coast is the sandy resort of Westward Ho! with its
famous pebble ridge and golf course.
Clovelly
- This famous coastal cobbled village is approximately 12 miles to the
west as is the charming coastal village of Bucks Mills.
Eden
Project - The acclaimed Eden Project would make an interesting day
out being approximately a one and a half hours drive away.
Exmoor/Dartmoor
- Visit this vast expanse of moorland for peace and tranquility. From
Buckland Brewer both Exmoor and Dartmoor are ideal day trip locations.
North
Cornwall - Bude, Boscastle, Tintagel (home to King Arthur) and numerous
Cornish beaches are easily accessible from Meadow Park.
Exeter
- this famous cathedral city is approximately 1 hour drive away providing
extensive shopping facilities.
Family
Attractions - The Milky Way and The Big Sheep provide popular family
entertainment both indoors and outdoors.
Coastal
Walks - You can walk along the rugged coastal paths of both the
North Devon and North Cornwall coastline with its magnificent views,
coves and picturesque harbours.
Surfing
- There are a number of excellent surfing beaches in North Devon and
the northern part of Cornwall, notably Saunton, Croyde, Woolacombe and
Widemouth Bay.
SITUATION Set on the outskirts of the village of Buckland Brewer, 6 miles from Bideford in North Devon, Meadow Park provides panoramic views over its own farmland towards distant Dartmoor and Exmoor. From the house you can take a leisurely stroll through Buckland Brewer where you will find an old-world pub, village post office/stores, the Anglican and Methodist churches and many quiet lanes offering scenic walks. A NON SMOKING ESTABLISHMENT REGRET NO PETS OFF ROAD PARKING HOW TO FIND US From Junction 27 of the M5, follow the A361 / A39 link road for approximately 46 miles past South Molton and Barnstaple until you reach the high arched bridge over the River Torridge at Bideford. After crossing the bridge take the second exit off the next roundabout, continuing on the A39 towards Bude for approximately 2 miles until the next roundabout (Abbotsham Cross). Take the first exit from this roundabout, then immediately turn right signed Littleham. At the next four-crossway turn right, signed Buckland Brewer. At the bottom of the hill turn right then take the next left, signed Buckland Brewer. Go into the village and turn left beside the Coach & Horses Inn, driving through Orleigh Close and over a cattle grid to a welcome at Meadow Park!
