THINGS TO DO Excellent area for cliff-top walks, fishing trips and generally "messing about in boats". Shaldon has an excellent 18-hole Approach golf-course, its own small zoo and a botanical garden. On Wednesday from May to September there is the 1785 Day when villagers dress in Georgian costume and there are attractions and stalls on the village green. In the evenings there is also a free Punch and Judy show. Shaldon is famous for its long sandy beach and Water Carnival and Regatta in August. If you get tired of the view looking onto the estuary you can always go through the Smugglers Tunnel to Ness Cove with its long beach of continuous sand. When tired of beach life there is always the open passenger ferry that will run you over to Teignmouth for shopping or a walk along the front.

ACCOMMODATION Comprising a large double bedroom 18' x 10', a newly decorated lounge diner 20' x 15' it has fitted carpets, a cosy gas fire, T.V. and a spacious double-bedded sofa.

The kitchen, 12' x 8', is 'fitted out with all mod. cons. There is a shower room with shower, hand basin and toilet. Street Parking is available nearby.

Guests are welcome to share the patio area with Bertie and Agatha, our two residential Indian Running ducks, who whilst being of a nervous disposition are not fazed by pets.
