Slipway House

Situation
Slipway House occupies a unique position within yards of the River Dart. Guests can enjoy views of the River Dart and Dartmouth from several of the rooms, while the patio is an ideal place to sit and relax in the sun. It is conveniently located for the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway whose terminus is a short hop across the road and, needless to say, the foot and car ferries to Dartmouth.

Kingswear Village Stores will do deliveries free of charge to Blue Chip properties located in Kingswear. They stock a good range of general produce in addition to cider, fruit, vegetables and meat all of which are locally sourced. If you would like to arrange for a delivery for your arrival day or during your stay please call them on 01803 752291. Payment is by cash or cheque on delivery and all orders must be placed 48 hours in advance. Deliveries are available Mon – Sat 7am – 6pm, unfortunately there are no deliveries on a Sunday.

This property is ideal for families with plenty of nearby children's activities eg. crabbing from the nearby beach, steam train to Paignton and family friendly blue flag beaches. The local transport is good with buses and ferries to nearby towns - no need to use the car!

Master bedroom with en-suite Located on the top floor with spectacular views over the river. Furnished with a king-size bed, 2 bedside cabinets with lamps, a double wardrobe and chest of drawers. En-suite comprises a shower cubicle, w.c. and wash basin.

Bedroom two
Bedroom two Overlooking Priory Gardens, this room is furnished with a double bed, 2 bedside tables with lamps, a 7 drawer chest and a matching wardrobe.

Bedroom three
Bedroom Three With river views, this room has bunk beds, wardrobe and matching chest of drawers.

Bedroom four
Bedroom Four Located on the first floor, this room features two single beds, 2 bedside tables with lamps and plenty of built-in storage space. There is also a travel cot available for younger guests, stored in the wardrobe in bedroom three.

Kitchen The spacious kitchen/diner is located on the ground floor and overlooks the slipway and the River Dart. Fully fitted with a fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave dishwasher and a comprehensive selection of utensils, crockery and glassware.

Dining The dining area (situated within kitchen) has a music system and a TV. Views overlook the slipway and river. A large wooden dining table with eight matching chairs.

There is a garage which is big enough for a small car or boat. On-street parking is available. A sunny terrace to the rear.
