What an absolutely brilliant bolthole for an escape from everyday life, 3 nights of absolute bliss escaping everyday life. Stars from the hot tub, breakfast under the canopy and smores by the firepit. The worst thing about Hydrangea Lodge was having to leave.

I just really enjoyed my 3 nights down here in the Hydrangea Shepherds Hut so why wouldn't I give 5 stars? All I'd suggest is to take some hand soap and shower gel as there isn't any there. The hot tub was hot, the hut was cosy and they even supplied my favourite biscuits and nice bottle of fizz. I went by myself this time but my girlfriend and I hRead moreave stayed here together too. Great base to explore parts of Devon and just sit and listen to nature. Book it, just not for when we return! Hide

We loved staying in hydrangea lodge, it was the perfect cosy, quiet and calm place to stay. To wake up each morning to the beautiful views was amazing. The lodge is compact but has everything you need and the outside space is lovely. The hot tub was great and the outdoor seating pod was great for eating breakfast, reading or just sitting with a cupRead more of tea. Ive already recommended to a few friends and would happily stay again. Hide
