Westward Ho! Is a delightful Victorian seaside town where you will find two miles of beautiful golden sandy beach, perfect for those who enjoy the sun and surf, and from here you can also enjoy some spectacular cliff-top walks on the South West Coast Path. Other local amenities include a golf course and tennis courts, alongside a great selection of independent shops, pubs and restaurants. Also, nearby, the pretty town of Bideford (2.5 miles) boasts an array of independent shops and from here you can enjoy a trip to Lundy Island on the famous Oldenburg. Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here include Appledore (2.4 miles) Clovelly (13 miles) Instow (4 miles) Tapeley Park (3.5 miles) The Big Sheep family attraction (3 miles) and The Milky Way, RHS Rosemoor and Dartington Crystal are within 10 miles.

Stepping inside the front door of this immaculate property brings you into the first floor entrance porch, a great spot to unload luggage, boots and coats. Here you will find four beautiful bedrooms; a spacious king and two double rooms, one of which has French doors leading out to a spacious balcony offering superb views over the garden and to the sea beyond. Seating and loungers on this terrace allow for complete privacy. Lastly a double bed with single bunk over. The good sized family bathroom completes the accommodation on the first floor. Heading downstairs via the open tread oak staircase you find yourself in a large, bright and airy lounge/kitchen/diner, well-furnished and equipped with three comfy sofas, electric living flame fire, Smart TV, quirky artwork and mirrors, making it a real home from home. A large dining table with seating for up to ten people looks out via glass bi folding doors to the garden and beyond. The kitchen area has everything you need to cater for your every need. A breakfast bar and stools offer additional occasional seating ideal for morning coffee. A utility room is just off the kitchen area and leads to a ground floor shower room with WC. A few steps lead up to a second lounge/snug with comfy sofa bed and seating. With a large Smart TV with soundbar, it is ideal as a cinema or gaming room.

Heading outside to the large enclosed rear garden with superb views across Westward Ho! There is a patio area to enjoy the warm weather and have a family BBQ. A summer style shed provides shade and comfort with seating, drinks fridge and pretty lighting. Just to the side of the house is a small building with a fully equipped shower room and WC, ideal for surfers, sandy toes, or paws. Behind this, via separate access, is another building with a pull-down double bed and en-suite shower room with WC. This room has a small kitchenette area with kettle, toaster etc and could allow a couple more privacy. Steps lead up to a doorway that leads into the garage/games room with table football. This is all set within a gated plot and so safer for children and pets.

We really enjoyed our stay in Westward Ho! Its a great location, to travel around the coast. The house was well presented and had everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable. The garden was great, and completely secure for our little dog. Would recommend.

Very nice house and well equipped. The house doesn't have a tumbledryer or working clothes line. The annex was good but needs a mini fridge in. The views are amazing. Its a ten minute walk to the town, where you can find everything you need. Point to note the chip shop gets very busy so does the Chinese so be early or prepare yourself for a wait, bRead moreut it is worth it. The shops and other food outlets shut at 2000hrs. Hide

This large spacious house was ideal for our combined 3 family holiday. Our ages ranged from toddler to grandparents and it sited us down to the ground. The house and well equipped annex allowed everyone space when they needed for relaxing and the odd nap The whole house is very well equipped especially the kitchen, great WiFi and the games for the Read moregarden. Really nice house. Excellent garden with lots of places to play and multi seating options for sun or shade. You can see the sea from the house. Big room for being sociable and playing. Nice snug room for quiet moments. Definitely recommend this holiday house

Lovely home! Amazing size garden & great location. Worked for us (2 adults / 2 small dogs). Dont think the layout really suits large groups, as although clearly enough bedroom space, the lounge area is separated & when its sunny outside you dont want to sit in the snug. Loved the property, probably my favourite cottage in the uk so far and we never go less than 5*. The bathroom situation isnt great with only one bathroom up stairs where 4 bedrooms are. There are three other showrooms but they are a little inconveniently located when you have a family with children. Loved the garden as it has lots of space for the Read morekids and the dog to play. Location was good as only a short walk to local amenities and the beach. Would definitely recommend this property. Hide

What a fantastic house !! Certainly a WoW, the main room is large , beautifully decorated and plenty of seating for everyone , the kitchen had plenty of cupboard space and was well equipped. Great to have a utility room and with children a washing machine !! The bedrooms were beautiful, very good beds, loved the fab room with a balcony and fantastiRead morec views of the sea , just a shame the weather was rubbish.
