Comfortable quirky cottage. Central to visit north and south coast of Devon. Villagers are very welcoming and helpful. Two village pubs at either end of the hill. Village community shop thats well stocked. Steep slope to get to cottage that may be an issue with those with mobility issues. Totally recommend for those wanting a quiet relaxing break.

A lovely, well equipped cottage. Welcome pack included local cider, cream tea and dog bowls and treats, nice touch. The village and neighbours are very friendly, the shop stocks local produce and the lamb has great food. We had such a lovely and relaxing time at the cottage. It was well equipped, beautifully clean and decorated, it has everything you need for a cosy stay. Perfect place to take your dog, they even provided dog bowls, there is a public footpath behind the house you can let your dog off the lead for a short walk and a dog friendly pub up the road.

Cottage was lovely ideally located in mid Devon giving access to N and S coasts and exmoor and Dartmoor. Parking was as advised, the garden was actually better than expected and literally across the path a step from the front door - my reading of it was quite a bit away. This is the second time we have booked the cottage this year. It is set in a beautiful, quiet location. The cottage itself, is cosy and has everything you require for a holiday. The local Inn has a varied menu of very good food. There are some beautiful local walks or for the more adventurous Dartmoor is not far way.
