Head out on foot to join the wonderful South West Coast Path, taking in the stunning ocean views as you walk. The traditional fishing villages of Appledore and Clovelly are well worth a visit and offer quintessential coastal charm with cobbled streets and sheltered harbours.

Enter the property heading up to the stairs to the first floor. Inside, close attention to detail has been paid to create a stylish, fresh and light interior that’s brimming with coastal charm. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is light and airy, featuring wooden flooring, skylights and large French doors opening onto the balcony. The contemporary kitchen area contains an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, while a shared utility area houses the washing machine. Once prepared, enjoy your meals at the dining table before relaxing in the stylish lounge area with Smart TV, Netflix and Bluetooth speakers. There are three bedrooms in this property, one king-size with TV/DVD, DAB radio and en-suite shower and WC, one twin with TV/DVD and DAB radio and one twin with TV. We had a lovely week at Surf Bay, the apartment was lovely and clean, well equipped and comfortable, would definitely stay there again.

Great location and good value for money, the view from the veranda was great and we spent many mornings and evening enjoying the space. Could do with a few more cooking utensils, especially for nonstick pans, like wooden spoons and selection of chopping cooking knifes, as we are a family that likes to cook.
