A traditional thatched cottage which is surrounded by the beautiful Cornish countryside, yet just a stones’ throw away from the popular seaside town of Bude. The town offers an array of amenities where you will find something to suit all, with its selection of independent shops, pubs, beaches, leisure centre, golf course and boating canal. Wanting to explore on foot, the South West Coast Path offers spectacular views and walks in either direction. The property is conveniently located within easy reach of the A39 and a great location for touring both Devon and Cornwall. Possible days out include visits to The Eden Project, the delightful fishing villages of Clovelly, Boscastle, Rock and Padstow.

This charming cottage oozes period charm throughout, but with your creature comforts assured promising the perfect Cornish retreat. As you enter the cottage into the entrance hall, the ideal place to kick off your boots and hang your coats following your countryside walk. To your left you have the spectacular open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which offers a wealth of character, with exposed beams and floor to ceiling windows and French doors that lead out onto the patio area. The beautifully designed lounge area, offers a Smart TV allowing you to catch up on your favourite shows or pull back the curtains and enjoy a night under the stars, it is truly the perfect setting for an evening in with family or friends. The kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave. To the rear of the cottage you will find the master super-king-size bedroom and a cosy twin zip-and-link bedroom (which can be into as a king-size on request). You will also find the bathroom with corner bath, shower and WC.

Venturing outside to the first part of the rear garden, an enclosed courtyard area with table and chairs and a BBQ great for dining outdoors. Following on from here you will find the large enclosed grassed area with seating. There is also a utility room in the out building to the right of the courtyard where you will find a washing machine, tumble dryer and chest freezer. There is off-road parking for two cars.

Wonderful property with all the creature comforts. A real home from home. The dogs loved the outside space. The whole property was beautifully maintained. Would love to return.

We cannot express enough how we enjoyed our second visit to the barn. As before every little thing had been thought of to make the stay perfect. The welcome basket again exceeded expectation aswell. Even when there was an issue with the heating it was sorted out within hours. Would highly recommend the barn

Everything we could have asked for was there. The welcome pack was amazing, thank you. We relaxed totally. The deck chairs was a lovely extra. We will be recommending it to friends.

Wonderful stay at this very comfortable, clean and well equipped welcoming cottage. Nice and quiet location with a great paddock for our dog to walk around safely of the lead. We appreciated a fantastic welcome basket and a very nice bottle of wine. Thank you so much! Surrounded by beautiful fields with lambs and sheep. A fantastic cosy barn, peaceful location but within east reach of Bude by car. Very dog friendly and a lovely welcome basket. Would highly recommend.

Amazing property, so well thought out. The owners have catered for every little thing. The welcome basket was exceptional and even the dogs had been remembered with biscuits for them. We are already planning a further booking here.

We had a Lovely relaxing holiday in this thatched cottage there was everything you could need and more , the enclosed garden was great for our 9 month old Cockerpoo to explore, we will definitely be returning

We had a lovely time at Aurora barn. The cottage was beautifully decorated and prepared to welcome us including a hamper with goodies for us and our dog. They also provided towels for our dog which as super helpful. We loved our stay and would highly recommend Aurora Barn. The location is also great to visit Bude and other surrounding towns.
