There are beautiful walks directly from the property and a renowned dog-friendly pub a mile away. For the more challenging walks, Dartmoor is just 7 miles away and offers some breathtaking scenery. Situated perfectly for exploring South Devon, venture to the market town of Totnes (10 miles) and explore its unique independent shops and cafes. Slightly further afield is the ever-popular town of Salcombe (13 miles) where you can enjoy water sports and boat trips, and taste locally caught seafood.

Approach this gorgeous bolthole barn and enter via the French doors leading into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Snuggle up on the comfortable sofa and enjoy the TV with Freesat while recharging your batteries from a long day exploring. A stylish kitchen provides everything you need to cook up a traditional breakfast including an electric oven, halogen hob, fridge with ice compartment, microwave, and dishwasher, and is also equipped with a washing machine. Enjoy an evening meal around the dining table while reflecting on the day's activities. Moving into the double bedroom, you’ll get a real feel for being in the country as it boasts views of lush, green sheep pasture. The double French doors leading to the patio space are perfect for letting the outside in on a sunny day. Completing the barn is an en-suite shower room and WC with a large rainfall showerhead and light-up mirror.

The enclosed outdoor patio space is the perfect place to unwind; spend the evening drinking your favourite tipple or dine al-fresco with the provided charcoal BBQ. The enclosed garden is perfect for letting the dog enjoy the fresh air and access to the owner's grounds while keeping dogs on leads is within steps of exploring right from your doorstep. Two off-road parking is available a short distance from the barn.

Ideal place to stay, good location, close to many beaches, nice pubs & a garage with convenience store. Lovely owners who were welcoming. The field banking onto the enclosed garden was just perfect for our dogs. We would definitely return

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. Owners were very welcoming and offered useful suggestions for trips and visits. The dogs loved the little garden and adjacent field where they could run around in. Local pubs had excellent food and were dog friendly. Dartmoor in easy reach for some nice walks. Overall a lovely week unwinding and resetting

Very rural location, blissfully quiet and a perfect bolt-hole. Kitchen was well equipped although could have benefitted from a deep clean. Unfortunately the dishwasher was broken and some of the items of cutlery/plates etc felt as though they needed re-washing before use. The lounge and bed are comfortable but WiFi signal weak/intermittent due to lRead moreocation. Lovely garden, which the dogs also enjoyed, few gaps that small dogs can squeeze through under gate. A superb little bolt hole away from everything except from a lovely pub within walking distance. Very comfortable bed and en suite facilities. Everything you need to cook with or not

Perfect location to explore Devon, very quiet and secluded accommodation ideal to chill for your stay. Cottage was nice and all the mod cons, but could have done with more of a clean. Above all good and we had the perfect weather for are stay
