A perfect choice for large family holidays or special celebrations, this spacious holiday home has everything you need for a fantastic seaside getaway.

Tucked away in a tranquil, flourishing setting, yet a stone’s throw from the bustling harbour of Brixham, this beautiful self-catering cottage offers a coastal retreat. Vintage finds are offset against a backdrop of pearly whites and stormy blues, creating the perfect hideaway in pretty south Devon.

Soft wall hangings, lifebuoys upcycled into mirrors and other nautical gems are peppered around this beautiful seaside home. Cook under a blue sky or to the soundtrack of rain pattering on the glass ceiling of the kitchen, then move into the dining room, which features a terracotta tiled floor and a large table to seat eight guests. Upstairs, you’ll find two double bedrooms, with gorgeous views as well as a twin bedroom, all with lots of storage. At the top of the house the attic room, a king-size master suite, boasts Velux windows and spectacular harbour views. Out front, a gravelled driveway fits one car and to the rear, there’s an enclosed courtyard garden with BBQ, and an enclosed carport providing parking for another car.

Brixham is a beautiful harbour town that promises boat trips, boutique shops and seafood restaurants serving the freshest produce. Blow away the cobwebs and visit the Berry Head Nature Reserve on the north side of Brixham. If you’re looking to take a dip, just off the shingle beach of Brixham is Shoalstone Pool, a marvellous salt water swimming pool that is one of the only surviving examples of a Victorian-era natural rock pool. If you’d like to explore the literary roots that belong to the queen of crime fiction, Agatha Christie, there are trails that show you where she lived and concocted her brilliant canon of novels.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

  • Brixham is busy fishing village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.
