Lovely homely cottage over looking the river - we came in late December to early January - everything we needed was at the cottage , the bed is super comfy - all the kitchen utilities were perfect. And a lovely touch of a bottle of wine & homemade biscuits on arrival. We would highly recommend !

This is a nice cottage in a good place for surrounding areas. It just needs cosying up and more attention to detail. It needs to be more neutral, with none of the owners personal things in there. The kitchen was good with enough items for general use. We enjoyed our stay, and would return if the quality was better.

The cottage was perfect for the two of us for a quiet getaway. The neighbours next door were lovely. Location was lovely with a decking looking across the harbour of bideford.

The setting of the cottage is lovely. The deck on the banks of the river Torridge is lovely on a sunny day and the lights on the bridge at night quite magical. The neighbours on both sides were lovely and very welcoming and helpful on the few occasions we met. Ideal setting for walks to Appledore and Instow very near the Tarka Trail.

Cottage in a good central location but be aware when you come out the front of the property it appears a little industrial purely because you are near the river.
