Beautifully presented barn conversion with unique features, which is ideally situated on the Devon and Cornwall border to enjoy some of the area’s best offerings.

Positioned on the Devon/Cornwall border just 6 miles from pretty seaside town Bude, this hideaway promises a peaceful escape to guests. A two-level barn conversion with a contemporary design, you’ll get the perfect mix of old and new in this bright and airy property. Relax on the huge sofa in the open-plan living area, looking out through the bi-folding doors onto the grounds that includes a beautiful blossoming orchard, or sit out on the decking under the sun parasol in the warmer months.

Step into the property through the patio doors for step-free access and you’re greeted by the stunning double-height ceilings in the living area, with huge windows and a beautiful wooden spiral staircase. The interiors are fresh and light, and the decor offers a blend of coastal and rural life. At night, the living area can be turned into a cosy haven thanks to the folding doors that discreetly hide the kitchen from view. In the evening, head up to bed to the double room that has large open windows at the end, gently waking you from your slumber after a wonderful night’s sleep.

Cycle along the traffic-free Bude Canal and Coast Cycle Route that you can join just 4 miles from the property, taking you on a 5-mile scenic route. If you prefer walking, take a stroll along Sandymouth Beach (9 miles), or the fascinating coastline at Morwenstow (13 miles). We've stayed in quite a number of properties with Holidaycottages.co.uk and I think we all agreed that this one was our favourite. It's a beautiful secluded spot but only a short drive into Bude, beaches etc. The property had everything we needed. Would certainly recommend this property and the friendly owners. Great place, 5 stars Hide
