In the midst of the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and under a quarter of a mile from the golden sands of Croyde Beach, Braemar offers the perfect opportunity to not only discover beautiful countryside but also to try your hand at surfing and other exhilarating water sports. With sea views through the sand dune system from the property as well as rolling hills, you could not wish for a better place to immerse yourself in nature.

Set on one level, the bright and airy exterior is reflective of the nearby coastline. Inside, a warm and welcoming ambience greets you in the light-filled lounge with its stunning garden views, and a spacious kitchen and dining area is just the place to cook and gather to chat about the day’s adventures. On warmer evenings, cook up a storm on the BBQ on the raised patio area and relax in the enclosed garden. The property is attached to a private self-contained annexe which can be booked in addition to the bungalow.

Walkers should be sure to drive the 17 miles to Exmoor National Park where a beautiful landscape of moorland and woodland awaits, as well as a great variety of wildlife. The South West Coast Path is also easily accessed from Croyde Beach with the National Trust’s Baggy Point a half-mile walk away. Carry on just a mile and a half further north to Putsborough Beach with its great expanse of sand, and further around the coast you’ll come to the bustling seaside resorts of Woolacombe and Ilfracombe. The charming harbour village of Appledore is a must-visit at 21 miles away and is a delight to wander around, with its steep cobbled streets and long harbourside promenade.

A very roomy bungalow with plenty of space to move around. Comfortable beds and a lovely front garden.

Great location, clean, but needs some minor investment in minor maintenance to spruce up the property. For a family with two adults and up to 4 kids, good value for money and within easy walking access of village food outlets and beach.
