Characterful old cottage so expect low ceilings, small rooms, thick walls (wifi/mobile patchy) & rustic style. Kitchen very well equipped, even condiments/herbs/oil for cooking. Annex barn room is good size with ensuite toilet. Fab v. long garden with sun throughout the day. No issue with off-road parking at the top of the road (~5 mins walk). What a fabulous cottage!! Had everything you could need or want, had such character, the decor was beautiful. Just a few points for future guests (NOT complaints) the outside steps really are as steep as they say, the barn/outside bedroom is lovely but if you have arachnaphobia you wont be happy! We loved Cobb cottage; it was really cosy and suited our family and dogs very well. We liked Braunton very much too as it is centrally located for beaches and walks. It is a friendly village with excellent facilities and cafes/restaurants - we will happily return in the future.

4 marks only awarded where 5 not possible - for example there's nothing that can be done about the lack of parking, which is a challenge, but not enough to put you off, but that's why the location gets a 4 instead of a 5. Likewise comfort - its a cottage, so sprawling open-plan comfort is impossible but again, not enough to put you off. Very highlyRead more recommended for a family with dogs; the garden is a joy Hide

Super sweet and quirky cottage. Very well equipped and in the centre of Braunton. We stayed two full weeks, with a toddler and it was a great home to us (many steps for a little child). We hope to come again soon. No parking which was a bit of a pain, but we just took into account to walk a bit after parking.
