The Captains View apartment is well furnished and equipped, its location is convenient to the Quayside. The village is definitely not a shopping area, one small supermarket only. Places to eat are in the expensive band, the Yard, a Tapas style restaurant is good but portions are typically tapas. The Beaver Inn is definitely a pub / restaurant, goodRead more food, but expensive. The Royal George gets top marks for service, quality and quantity, along with the lovely staff. The stairs are steep. Hide

No one greeted us on arrival, this caused difficulties, because we couldnt get access to the property. Parking is a difficulty, and the agency needs to state that parking may have to be paid for if parking is not available on the street or quay. Guests need to be aware that other parking charges may be incurred. The cleanliness of the flat could beRead more improved, a tablecloth left on the dining table had grease stains and crumbs on it. Lovely quiet location, we had a very quiet holiday which was exactly what we were looking for. Lots of SWC path walks etc. Property had everything you could want but is in need of a little more attention in the garden especially as we found it unusable due to weeds and a broken chair.
