The property has fantastic views over Ilfracombe and the sea especially from the front bedrooms. This property is on a steep slope so access for older people was difficult. The property itself does need alot of maintenance throughout and the barbecue supplied is not fit for purpose. Also more could have been made of the games room. Great house for large group (only 2 showers and 3 loos though.) Driveway is precariously steep! garden not very secure for children and dogs as it backs onto main A399 so you need to keep house doors closed Cleaners had obviously run out of time before our arrival, eg. paper baskets not emptied, dog urine in sitting room, litter in garden,

The house was perfect for a family get together and in a great location overlooking Ilfracombe. However it is poorly maintained and could do with some TLC and simple DIY. This is a huge house with bedrooms and chill out areas everywhere....so perfect for extra large families or groups of friends. The view is amazing and it's only a short walk to the harbour which is beautiful. Good access to local area. The house is a great size for family gatherings however there were a few items that needed attention. The driveway is very steep and was not suitable to park on. Door locks and keys were difficult to use- locks temperamental.

Ill start with the negatives as generally a very beautiful well equipped property. On arriving at the property there is a very steep pathway down to front door and although there are steps as well they are laid with slate chippings so would be useful to know this for elderly etc. The kitchen door is a bit complicated to unlock and took several atteRead morempts to get right so instructions on the door itself would be useful.
