Situated in an area just tucked away from Brixham harbour, this property is within easy reach of everything this bustling fishing town has to offer. Amongst colourful fishermen’s houses that line the harbour you will find a charming array of independent shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and galleries. The harbour itself boasts one of the largest fishing fleets in the UK together with a thriving fish market for stocking up for your stay.

On the ground floor, a spacious lounge with decorative ceiling cornicing, original feature fireplace, an elegant chandelier and array of stylish sofas is light and bright thanks to the large bay window to the front of the house. With a TV, DVD player and music player with Bluetooth connection, this is a tranquil space for unwinding after a long day. The lounge connects to a formal dining room via a large archway, which boasts a further feature fireplace and stained wooden flooring. The kitchen is contemporary and spacious, with plenty of workspace for everyone to lend a hand. Here you will find an electric induction hob, built-in electric oven and grill, dishwasher, under-counter fridge, freezer and microwave. For breakfasts and light meals, a table with seating for four offers an alternative dining space. There is a separate utility room to house the washing machine, iron and ironing board, together with a separate WC. A games room boasts a full-size football table, perfect for those with a competitive streak. On the first floor, the master bedroom boasts a magnificent four-poster bed, which offers wonderful views down to the bay, together with a chest of drawers, bedside tables and clothes hanging space. Also on this floor is a sunny twin bedroom that’s perfect for children, together with a separate WC and luxurious family bathroom complete with roll-top bath and separate shower. On the second floor, there is a large attic king-size bedroom, which features wooden flooring, a pretty dressing table and wonderful views through dual aspect windows.

Please note the rear terrace is accessed via steep steps in common with many Brixham properties that are built into the hillside. This may not suit all, however the front terrace was refurbished in 2018 and provides seating with an open sea view and maintains separation from the footpath by virtue of being raised a few feet.

The back garden boasts a decked area that acts as a suntrap and the front terrace also provides seating raised up and away from the road more conveniently for those not wanting to climb the rear steps.

The cottage was good and had mostly all that we needed for our week away during October half term holiday. The rear garden is accessed by many steep steps which was not ideal, however, we just did not use this all week, which was a shame.

We had a great time at Ciao bella. Large homely rooms. Table football is a great addition. The four poster bed, super, and so comfortable. Beware of the hills to and from town. We are thinking of booking again for next year.

We enjoyed our stay & found the house to be lovely, the steps at the front of the house do need a hand rail for people safety. Our daughter is in a wheelchair so getting her up & down the steps was difficult a hand rail would of helped. The front seating area was fantastic we didn't use the back garden didn't need to the view from the front was beaRead moreutiful. The house in side was nicely decorated & furnished house could do with a dryer was difficult to get clothes dry on rubbish weather days. Hide

This is our second time at this accommodation and its just perfect you have everything there that you need and the view of the harbour is lovely parking is never a problem next time we come to brixham this is were we will be staying we had an issue with the upstairs window I called Carly and it was sorted straight away very friendly service

Lovely house, very stylish and comfortable. Plenty of space. Fabulous views from upstairs. Close to all amenities. Steep hills when you return to the house on foot. Then again that is the case with most properties in this area. Would definitely recommend. Very happy.
