On the ground floor, the open-plan kitchen/lounge is finished in a chic industrial style with slate flooring, exposed ceiling beams, modern units and stylish metro tiles. Dine at the charming table for two before settling down on the comfortable leather sofa for a cosy evening in front of the TV. At the end of a busy day, the spacious bedroom with vaulted ceiling, floorboards and calming coastal decor is the perfect place to rest weary heads. Tucked away in a peaceful courtyard setting, this cottage is just steps from Appledore’s shops, cafes, galleries and quayside. Set out on foot to follow the South West Coast Path to the golden sands of Westward Ho! or take a river walk to the market town of Bideford. From here, take to the water by catching The Oldenburg to beautiful Lundy Island to visit its colonies of seals and puffins.
