Located in Beaford, a traditional cottage with charm and character, perfect for cyclists and walkers alike. Ideally situated for anyone wanting to explore North Devon’s beautiful countryside and coast.

Beautifully presented both inside and out, this cottage is rurally located in the fantastic community of Beaford. Off the beaten track, Beaford is a lovely village with a real feel of countryside living and friendly, inviting local shops, pubs and people. Perfectly situated for walkers, cyclists and those who enjoy exploring the great outdoors, this home welcomes you inside with its wood burner, beams and cosy interior, after days spent adventuring.

Elegantly rustic with a wood burner sitting in the glorious feature fireplace, the dining area creates a warm and inviting hub of the home. Rustle up a meal in the well-equipped kitchen before sitting down and mulling over the day’s activities and planning the next adventure. Sophisticated decor dotted with contemporary features make the lounge a fabulous place in which to unwind; relax with a book whilst younger ones enjoy the games console. Unwind further with a soak in the bath as you head upstairs to bed, the spacious double room and cosy single are tranquilly decorated whilst the single has a charming and quirky ceiling with village green views. Wake up and feel revived with a morning coffee in the rear courtyard, accessible via steps.

When you have wandered the local footpaths and wish to see more of North Devon, hop onto the Tarka Trail or South West Coast Path for spectacular river and sea views, and the occasional waterfall if you tread the right routes! Roam sublime gardens at RHS Gardens Rosemoor just 4.5 miles from home or take the 23-mile trip to Exmoor National Park for wild moors and traditional village pubs. 16 miles from home, feel the sand underfoot at Westward Ho! beach, and maybe take a surf lesson.

This cottage is very well equipped, clean and tidy with comfortable beds. There is good WiFi but the mobile phone signal is quite poor. The garden is very small with a bit of a drop towards the house so youd need to keep an eye on small children or dogs. Parking was a bit awkward at times as the car park is shared and its on a first come first servRead moreed basis. Good communication with the owners, very helpful. The cottage is in a good location and is one I would happily stay at again. Hide

Comfortable inside, kitchen pretty functional. Location good for Great Torrington and not too far to coast or Dartmoor. Rosemoor RHS being nearby a big plus. View from cottage not great but not a major requirement for us. there was enough parking for 3 vehicles which was a plus!
