This delightful stone cottage is a great base for families who enjoy relaxing, cycling, fun on the beach, scenic walks, or watching wildlife.

With far-reaching views across the Devonshire countryside, this charming cottage allows guests to experience the flourishing natural beauty of the North Devon coast from the comfort of a home-from-home. Whether you’re having a cup of tea in the spacious lounge, watching the goats and sheep graze in the fields or braving the rides at The Milky Way Adventure Park, guests can take their pick between ambience and adrenalin.

 

The property has an attractive stone exterior and immediately provides guests with a distinct sense of village life. The interior utilises space well, with a characteristic long room that combines the kitchen and dining area into a welcoming living space. The lounge’s exposed beams give this area character whilst large, comfortable sofas and soft, plush carpet underfoot means that comfort is given ultimate priority. The four bedrooms (including two doubles) allows for up to eight guests and two dogs so that large parties can spend some quality time together in this stunning part of the country.

 

Just 8.5 miles from the cottage is the lively Milky Way Adventure Park, a spirited amusement park filled with rides, miniature golf, and live shows that will keep the entire family entertained. If you want a moment away from the crowds, then the Royal North Devon Golf Club is just 2 miles from the property. Don’t spend too long away though, as the 15 acres of private countryside that surround the cottage are just waiting to be explored, perhaps with a picnic in tow.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A really pleasant week in a lovely setting, highly recommend! The owners are very accommodating and knowledgeable, we would definitely return :) The cottage itself was a good size, the double rooms were a little small but the bonus of having their own ensuites made this a non issue. The holiday cottage was lovely. The bedrooms were bijoux but there were ample showers and toilets. the lounge and kitchen/dining were spacious and well equipped. The setting was great and if the pool had been heated it would have been perfect. It's a fair walk down to the beach and a very steep walk back up again. The cottage was ideally located in the country and just a short 20 minute walk into Westward Ho! The swimming pool was a definite plus point, especially for young children. On the negative side, the two double on-suite bedrooms were very tiny, to say the least, with very little room to turn. The cottage was also looking "tired" and in need of a refRead moreurb especially in view of the amount we had to pay. For example, the onsite shower in one of the bedrooms was unusable. Hide

The cottage was in a good location and could get to various places From there. It had all we needed was clean and had good facilities although with covid 19 at the moment some were not available. Overall a good holiday!

Lovely cottage and outside space, was close enough to walk to the beach, but found it difficult with pushchairs,because it was up hill and steps to get back to the cottage, therefore had to drive into Westwood Ho!
