A first-floor apartment set within the grounds of the owner's smallholding, this property has been finished in a sleek and contemporary style, contrasting the thatched cottages and castle ruins in the centre of Kingkerswell village. Meet the animals, spend time relaxing in the garden, or take the pleasant 1-mile stroll across the brook into the village where there are two welcoming pubs, as well as a handy shop.

Sleek and stylish may not be words that you were usually associate with rural life, but this apartment is far from what you may expect to find on a smallholding. In the open-plan living area, the glass ceiling floods the room with light and allows guests to stargaze over drinks in the evening. Upstairs the interior is just as well-finished, with the bathroom offering a relaxing spa bath and the master bedroom benefitting from a contemporary-style en-suite shower room. Please note that all three bedrooms are in the eaves of the property and this does mean that there is some reduced head height. Outside the enclosed garden is furnished with a table, chairs, and a BBQ, as well as a fun children’s play area. Beyond this, guests are free to wander the smallholding and say hello to the chickens, horses, and rabbits.

The beautiful English Riviera awaits guests staying here, with the boutiques, bistros, and bars of Torquay situated just 5 miles away. From here the bay sweeps south, offering numerous sandy beaches and passing the quieter town of Paignton before reaching Brixham, with its beautiful harbour and coastal nature reserve. A huge range of water sports are on offer, as well as numerous boat trips around the bay including leisure rides, diving trips, and fishing expeditions.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
