Beautiful converted barn nestled in the grounds of the owner’s farm. With private lake and ponds, tennis court and resident chickens making this the ultimate country retreat.

This beautiful rural retreat is ideal for a peaceful getaway. It enjoys easy access to all local amenities and is just a short drive from the M5. Located between Exmoor and Dartmoor, this quiet barn conversion is well located for easy access to some wonderful trails. The stunning cathedral city of Exeter is just a short drive away offering a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants making it the perfect place for a day out. Closer to home, the town of Tiverton boasts a pretty canal and from here you can hire a barge for the day or cycle along the banks enjoying the varied views. Beach lovers can explore the world-renowned Jurassic coastline, including picturesque Lyme Regis and the seaside resorts of Sidmouth and Branscombe, or heading north to the surfing beaches of North Devon such as Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton. There are also a number of National Trust Properties in the area including Killerton and Knightshayes.

Upon entering the property, you will be welcomed into the bright entrance hall, perfect for hanging coats and storing shoes. Directly from here you will find the first bedroom a spacious twin. Across the hallway you’ll find a large lounge featuring double height vaulted ceilings with original beams and stonework, this is the perfect room to sit and relax after a busy day exploring and catch up on your favourite programmes on the TV. Next, you’ll find the open-plan kitchen/breakfast room boasting an electric double oven and hob, microwave and fridge with a breakfast area perfect for enjoying your morning coffee and fresh local eggs. Completing the ground floor is the bathroom with bath with hand-held shower, separate shower and WC. From the lounge area there are steps up to the large open-plan mezzanine King-size bedroom.

Heading outside you can enjoy the large lawn area with garden furniture, perfect for dining al fresco on a summers evening. Guest will have use of the tennis court (where coaching can be arranged at an extra charge). Your four-legged friend will love taking walks around the owners’ grounds where there is a beautiful large pond. The property has ample off-road parking available.
