Detached house great for large families or groups of friends. Situated in the best surfing village in the UK, beach within walking distance as well as shops and pubs, off-road parking for three cars.

This impressive detached house in the surfing village of Croyde with its golden beach, excellent surf and independent pubs/restaurants is the ideal place to experience what makes North Devon so unique. You’ll find it easy to relax in this recently refurbished, spacious house with its delightful garden that has views of Croyde Bay. Although it’s in a quiet cul-de-sac position, it is still only a few hundred metres from the beach and village. Other popular beaches are nearby, as well as popular, award-winning family attractions.

Tastefully decorated throughout, it feels clean, spacious and airy. The lounge/diner is a big open area but feels cosy with comfortable sofas and a wood burner. A restful sun room provides an additional place to relax and enjoy the view. The well-equipped kitchen offers yet more space, including a large table ideal for breakfast. The stylish king-size bedroom is on the ground floor with a modern shower room and WC. Upstairs are three more bedrooms, one of which is en-suite, and a bathroom. Outside, the enclosed garden has a place for al-fresco dining, which is perfectly positioned to make the most of the setting sun.

Croyde is a popular, lively village and is home to one of the UK’s best surfing beaches with the added bonus of dunes and rockpools to explore. You can also access the South West Coast Path, which offers breathtaking, scenic walks across headlands such as Baggy Point. Further afield are the golden sands and clean surf of Putsborough (1.5 miles) or Woolacombe (5 miles). Families will enjoy Combe Martin Wildlife Park, The BIG Sheep or Exmoor Zoo which are all within 20 miles.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Pros - this property is in a great location not jut for croyde but surrounding areas too, it's very spacious and has a great secure garden for dogs. Cons - sadly this property doesn't live up to its 4 star rating, Very badly maintained, very basic and not cleaned to a high standard. Lovely property location you need to ensure you bring full supplies for the family and or guests even down to salt and pepper. As stated in previous reviews limited cutlery for 8 people. Prior Cleaning needs to be stepped up.

Bedrooms are light and airy with comfortable beds, pillows and plenty of space and we enjoyed our stay. Very spacious family home, the garden is great on 3 sides of the house, and very secure for our two dogs. Croyde has been a family favourite for over 50 years, and is an excellent place for a holiday. Due to current restrictions we ate in more than usual, so a few more pots & pans would have been useful. Ideal holiday home for beach etc! Spacious, clean and very comfortable, we had a lovely 5 days over Christmas! Some things not as advertised, garage not secure for storage, tv very basic as sky not available so tv in bedroom doesnt work! I know its a holiday home but if its advertised you do expect it! Fantastic spacious property in a great location. Easy walking distance to local amenities and beach. The local sand dunes were a favorite for the kids... take body boards to sand surf! Easy drive to Saunton. TV package is basic so take own entertainment for kids. An excellent stay and would certainly book again.

A lovely spacious house in a super location. There is an easy walk from the house to the beach and into the village. Perfect for a family holiday, it has a lovely enclosed garden which is ideal for both children and dogs

Great location for village and beaches and good space in house, but don't be fooled by pictures on website, the house needs a lot of general maintenance (too much to mention in space allowed). Definitely not 4 stars or good value for money.
