Perfectly placed in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and nestled on a stretch of coastline boasting dramatic cliffs and diverse wildlife, this property is within walking distance of a beach renowned for some of the best rock pools in the country. Wembury is perfect for inland and coastal walks to Wembury Woods and around Wembury Point, and its beach is notorious for good swimming and surfing. Dolphins, basking shark, and seals can be occasionally seen in Wembury Bay. Walk less than a mile and discover the dramatic cliffs over Connor’s Cove where the River Yealm meets the sea. For culture and shopping, Plymouth is only 7 miles away, with the historic Barbican and its restaurants, shops, bars, and National Marine Aquarium. You can walk up onto the Hoe with its swimming pool, cafes, and bars and Open Air cinema at the Lido - throughout August. The National Firework championships, featured on the 16/17 August 2023 in Plymouth. Other events in Plymouth include, Pirate Weekend in May (20th/21st) Plymouth Favour Festival (26th-28th May) or Plymouth Seafest (16th/17th September). Enjoy a show at the famous Plymouth Theatre Royal or take a drive Dartmoor National Park or enjoy a trip and National Trust Saltram (6 miles).

Stepping inside this stunning coastal home you will immediately find yourself in the beautifully light and spacious kitchen/diner. This is the perfect place to enjoy laid back family meals, even before you open the French doors leading to outside to dine alfresco during warm weather. The famous Eddystone Lighthouse lies approximately 10 miles offshore and it can clearly be seen from the kitchen both flashing at night and during the day given clear visibility. The kitchen itself is perfectly appointed and equipped with a great range of appliances including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. During the winter there is also a two-oven AGA that will be available for use. From here, head further inside the property and into the warm and welcoming lounge which boasts comfortable sofas arranged around a Smart TV with Netflix and a cosy wood burner. Here you will also find a further set of French doors leading to outside, meaning that you can enjoy the fresh sea air whilst relaxing in comfort. Should anyone wish for a quiet space to read, or children to play in their own space, there is also a lovely little snug/playroom located back towards the kitchen/diner with a further Smart TV. On the other side of the ground floor and separated by a split level, you will discover the first of the beautiful bedrooms. These comprise a double room and a cosy bunk bedroom. Located next to these rooms is a contemporary bathroom with a handheld shower over the bath, separate shower and WC. Completing the offering on the ground floor you will also find an undeniably useful utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, shower and WC. Venturing up the stairs and onto the first floor, you will find the stunning master bedroom which boasts a king-size bed, fabulous sea views and an en-suite shower and WC. The final room inside the property and providing flexible accommodation for a variety of family groups is a pretty twin bedroom, which can be made into a super-king-size bed on request.

Heading outside, further highlights await in the form of a spacious decked patio offering sea views, garden furniture, charcoal BBQ and also a hot tub. From here, steps lead down to a large, enclosed lawn to the front and further patio area with seating to the side. Private off-road parking for two cars is also provided on the driveway.

Such a lovely peaceful location. Great views of the sea. The house is very spacious and our staffie loved the enclosed garden. Walk to the beach and back is very steep but the beach itself is such a hidden gem. Fiona, the manager, was brilliant and gave us tips on where to visit etc.
