Excellent location. A small traditional cottage with an unusual selection of furniture which is not particularly practical or comfortable. The equipment in the kitchen is of a high standard. Two of us were fine here but I wouldn't recommend larger groups or small children. Appledore is charming and a great place to stay when exploring North Devon.

We loved the fact there was no TV or internet, it was truly a "switch off" place, the big log fire made it just perfect, really cozy and well furnished. The perfect place for a quiet Christmas, the walks around and views were wonderful. Loved it and will certainly return if we are visit my parents who live close by.

This is a wonderful getaway for my family and I; and, given this was our third visit in three years says it all in terms of how much we love it. We enjoy being in Appledore midst winter and Fisherman's View provides us with everything we need to feel cosy and warm. Would recommend it without reservation.

Fisherman's View is fantastically located in the heart of wonderful Appledore, just minutes walk from all the amenities you could wish for on a North Devon coastal holiday. The cottage itself is warm and cosy, with a fantastic bathroom, fairly well equipped kitchen, log burning stove in the living room and a lovely sun-trap back yard.

Fisherman's View was in a superb location in Appledore. It was easy to park near the cottage. The cottage was great - we ate out at the various pubs and restaurants but it would have been fine cooking at the cottage. The shower was fab! We would return. Our dog loved it too.
