Our second visit to Fisherman's View, and certainly not our last. Situated in the lovely village of Appledore, it has everything we need for a weekend of peace, as a family. Woodburner, sea views, rolltop bath, cosy interior and tasteful decor. My wife and daughters love it. As do I. See you next time

This cottage is in a great location and Appledore is a great place to stay and use as a base to explore the nearby coastal villages. Great views from the bedroom and bathroom!

The cottage is in a great location in Appledore, with everything close to hand. It was clean and the kitchen and bathroom are to a high standard. Nice outside courtyard (which we didn't use in early February). It was great to find somewhere that would take two dogs, as so many dog-friendly places accept just one.

We had a lovely week in Appledore staying in Fisherman's cottage. The cottage was welcoming and beautifully clean, we loved the quirky decor and the location is fantastic for exploring. We have stayed in a couple of different cottages around England and would not hesitate to recommend this one.

My mother, my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Fisherman's Cottage. It is very conveniently placed for all numerous pubs and other facilities within Appledore. Guests should be aware that the stairs are quite steep and, being a genuine cottage, there is limited headroom in places.

We loved our stay at the cottage but only downside for us was although a dog friendly property there is no grass area just a paved courtyard which our dog would not go to the toilet in so it was a bit of a pain having to take him out on the lead every time he needed the loo! A lovely little cottage otherwise.
