Peacefully situated at the end of a private lane in an unspoilt part of Devon. The small farm is home to sheep and hens as well as a wealth of wildlife, such as deer, foxes, hares and barn owls, you can enjoy countryside walks or cycle rides from your doorstep. Half a mile away is the Tarka Trail, a long distance path that winds through the Torridge valley until it reaches the sea. Nearby you can visit RHS Rosemoor Gardens, the small market town of Great Torrington along with the coastline only 30 minutes away- choose between the wide sandy beach of Westward Ho!, the spectacular cliffs above Bideford Bay, the many tiny coves or the cobbled, harbourside village of Clovelly.

Enter the converted 18th century barn into the entrance hall with ample room for coats and boots. Follow into the kitchen with gas cooker, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer and microwave. Adjoining lounge/diner, a large, sunny room with a beamed ceiling, beautiful parquet floor and fireplace with ornamental wood burner, comfortably furnished with TV, Freeview, DVD player, hi-fi and dining table and chairs. On this floor is a cloakroom with WC. Head upstairs to the spacious, south-facing  double bedroom with plenty of room for a cot if needed.There is also a set of 3' bunks which can be hidden behind a curtain on the wide, well-lit landing area, ideal for children or weekend guests. Along the hallway you will find the bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Outside guests have access to the shared lawn picnic area, which is 10 yards from the cottage, with ample seating and play space which offers games facilities: goal post, selection of ball games and netball hoop. The property is located on a farm with surrounding grounds, wildlife ponds, wildflower meadow. Bench seating for the exclusive use of the cottage.

This is the most gorgeous setting in the country down a little lane, the barn conversion is so cosy and quiet. A good size home with everything you need including a washing machine. It's not too far away to Torrington which has everything you need. Our hosts were just lovely and left us to it but were there if we needed anything. On our arrival theRead morere was a plate of baking and milk in the fridge and even flowers on the table. Our stay wasn't long enough. Thankyou for sharing your home. Hide

Once we navigated our way through the skinny roads, we found the farm and cottage which was extremely picturesque. We were welcomed with fresh flowers, home made cakes, milk and a supply of the essentials. It was clean, cosy and had everything you would require for a self catering holl. We were amazed at the thought and provision. Our boys loved thRead moree bunk beds with curtains, the outdoor space and wildlife. The owners were very friendly and helpful.
