Property code: 41580

Stylish five-star single-storey property located in the pretty coastal village of Combe Martin in North Devon, just a stone’s throw from the village harbour and secluded beach.

Start your day with a coffee on the patio with sea view before you wander the 200 metres, past cafes and an ice cream parlour, to Combe Martin’s pretty pebbled beach. Pop back up to the house for lunch, eating in the stylish kitchen/diner or out on the decked sun terrace at the rear of this property.

Guests approach this single-storey property via a flight of external steps, leading across the front patio and on to the front door. Once inside guests will find beautiful light-filled rooms which have been finished in restful muted tones creating a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere in the attractive lounge and all three bedrooms. The kitchen/diner is another elegant space with a square dining table seating six and a well-equipped kitchen area.

Just steps away from the village centre and its 17th century pub, this property is in the perfect position for spending days at the village or for heading further around the coast to the neighbouring harbour town of Ilfracombe 5 miles away. Head to the harbour and jump onboard a boat trip across to Lundy Island, under the watchful eye of Damien Hirst’s huge statue of Verity. Other places worth visiting in the area include Combe Martin Wildlife Park (2 miles), the theme park at Watermouth Castle (2.5 miles) and the huge sandy beach at Woolacombe (11 miles).

Lovely property, lived up to the photos. Very clean and well-equipped. A treat to have a little basket of 'doggy' bits too.

Fabulous place, overlooking the beach. The patio comes into its own in good weather. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The housekeeper Clair was super responsive. With 6 people in our party there was a lot of pressure on the one shower at times. Overall, highly recommended

!SELECTED!An !ENDOFSELECTED!exceptionally well appointed property with some delightful touches. Very comfortable and we were most impressed by the number of realistic artificial plants and flowers around the rooms, which gave it a friendly feeling. It also came with good weather as well! The best holiday property I have ever rented in forty years.

Couldn't fault this place, beautifully clean, large kitchen dinner with everything you need, very comfortable beds, lovely hot shower. The view from the lounge is just beautiful whatever the weather, and there is a lovely patio to catch the evening sun (hopefully you are a bit luckier with the weather) Would be very happy to come back, our only sliRead moreght negative was that dogs aren't allowed on the main beach at the time we were there, but that is not the fault of the accommodation. Lovely bungalow with great sea view from the living room window. SW coastal path starts from the door. Couple of convenience shops and a great fish and chip shop, a must for any seaside break. Dog friendly area although beach off limits April to October.

Beautifully clean and very well presented for comfort. Stones throw from the beach (no dogs allowed though from March to end September) although there is a dog exercising area right nearby. It is a very narrow road that leads to property but you can also access from carpark (easier)

I booked this cottage because of its proximity to the beach and the fabulous views from the front terrace. We spent more time on that terrace than inside. All the rooms are spacious. I would say the twin room is a bit tight for two adults but ideal for children. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed. We were impressed with Covid arrRead moreangements and felt comfortable throughout our stay. We ate one meal at the Lion House and then used local shops. Missing Combe Martin already! Hide

The location and view were incredible. The property is clean and comfortable, well equipped apart from teaspoons. The welcome goodies for humans and dog were lovely. Lovely comfortable beds. COVID measures seemed suitable, sad to loose 3 hours of property time but an essential measure. Thoroughly recommend.
