The minimalist living space is perfectly utilised with no detail spared. Upon entering the open-plan lounge/kitchen/bedroom/dining area you will be surprised at the amount of light able to flow through the property. The comfortable double bed sits at the back of the hut with a table and chairs opposite the kitchen, which is fitted with an electric double hob and mini fridge with an ice compartment. You will also find a separate spacious private shower room with WC. Outside there is a shared picnic table and chairs as well as your own outdoor patio area with a BBQ right next to the property.
With Dartmoor National Park not far from the property, guests are in an ideal location to explore this rich landscape. One of these idyllic spots is Lydford Gorge (7 miles), the deepest gorge in the South West, that offers fantastic views of stunning waterfalls and streams. Just 6 miles south-east of the shepherd’s hut is St. Michael’s Church on Brent Tor, which holds both geological, historic and religious significance.
Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
