The cottage adjoins the thatched Grade II listed owners' farmhouse which is set on nine acres. This cottage is superbly located to provide guests with a variety of outdoor activities to enjoy. Enjoy walks on or around the farm, explore the roaming cattle, visit the chickens, or just relax and enjoy the breath-taking views of the neighbouring dairy and sheep farms. The local farm shop and coffee shop are only 1 mile away, a tempting treat on mornings when a lie-in demands a quick brunch. Slightly further at 4 miles is the historic market town of Crediton which offers more shops and places to eat. Both North and South Devon beaches, Woolacombe, Croyde and Exmouth and Sidmouth are reachable in an hour. Exeter is only six miles away and offers wonderful family attractions, water sports and boutique shopping and eateries. Located only 40 minutes to the National Parks of Dartmoor and Exmoor both filled with hidden gems and places to explore. A wealth of attractions are within easy reach including the National Trusts Knightshayes and Killerton, RHS Rosemoor, Dartington Crystal, Crealy Adventure Park, Pennywell Farm, The Big Sheep and Milky Way for family fun. Closer to home is Woolley Animals Alpaca Farm where you can walk with the animals and Tiverton canal which offers horse drawn barge trips.

On entering the property, through its own private front garden and entrance, you are met by a spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, this area has a woodburner and  two sets of French doors offering wonderful countryside views and access to the enclosed garden with patio and built-in charcoal BBQ. Here you can relax and enjoy watching your favourite programme on the Smart TV and you will be spoilt for choice with SkyTV , or take time to enjoy a movie on the Blu-ray. The kitchen area is well-equipped and is perfect to try out some new recipes or cook some old family favourites. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Going upstairs are the two comfortable bedrooms one king-size and one twin both enjoying superb countryside views. The family shower room is also located upstairs and has a shower and WC. A spacious landing area a cosy area to enjoy some quiet time.

Venturing out of either set of French doors from the lounge/kitchen/diner you will find yourself in an enclosed garden with plenty of room for children to play. The private sunny patio is a perfect place to enjoy some outside dining with garden furniture and built-in charcoal BBQ. There is also ample parking and a children’s wooden play area with swings, climbing frame, monkey bars and a slide.

This is a gem of a cottage to stay in for many reasons It is in a perfect ,quiet location with beautiful view across the countryside with easy access to Tiverton and Crediton The cottage is Spotlessly clean with a nice eye for detail and looked after by kind and thoughtful owners who live next door Welcoming extras are provided and parking is easy

Excellent holiday for us. We travelled down to Devon to attend my friends wedding, but made a few more days of it. Perfect location away from the city life of Exeter, but only 25 minute drive in. Also only 25 minutes away from where the wedding was held at (Upton Barns, Cullompton). We also had our 16 month son with us. The play area / swing / tramRead morepoline along with the sheep and chickens made his weekend. Would highly recommend Hide

We had a lovely stay here, the cottage is well equipped with everything you could need and the location is stunning with views of fields from every window. The family were also lovely and very helpful and were on hand if we needed anything during our stay. We loved the outdoor seating area, which we used every day and was perfect for the lovely weaRead morether we had. The cottage was beautiful it had everything you would need to make your stay comfortable with your own private garden and fantastic views and the owner was very helpful
