This detached bungalow is set in an elite residential road in the town of Topsham and is set behind impressive wooden gates. This newly refurbished property completed in 2018 is approached via wooden gates. Stepping into the property through the porch into the entrance hall, with the kitchen and conservatory/breakfast room in front of you, well-fitted and equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Also, on the ground floor is the stylish shower room with shower and WC, accessed through the spacious utility area with washing machine. Step through into the lounge/diner from the entrance hall where you will find a Hobbit wood burner, perfect for chilly evenings and TV/DVD so you can watch your favourite TV shows and movies. From here step down into the garden room with comfy seating, triple aspect windows overlooking the garden, radio/CD player and a well stocked bookshelf. Little ones will love the play room with a selection of games, toys, TV/DVD and bean bags. The remaining accommodation consists of three bedrooms, two super-king-size zip-and-link bedrooms (which can be made up as twins on request) and one twin. Completing the accommodation is the stylish family bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Heading outside from the kitchen is a patio area with garden furniture and charcoal BBQ, the rear enclosed garden has many established shrubs, plants and various fruit trees, children will love to explore the nooks and crannies of this large garden. There is also a greenhouse with 40 year old grape vine and a summer house with seating in a shaded quiet part of the garden to enjoy some quiet time and there is also an outside table tennis table and various outdoor games to keep the younger, or older one's entertained! There is off-road parking for four cars.  Please note, the grounds and parking area of this property is covered by CCTV.

Highfields exceeded our expectations for holiday let with family. There are 2 lounges, a conservatory and a play room so plenty of space to spread out. A very nice property with immaculate facilities and a nice garden. It is a short walk into Topsham with its pubs and restaurants. Exeter and Exmouth are a short bus or train ride away. There are many Devon towns and villages which are only a short drive away as well as lots of interesting walks.

A lovely bungalow with an incredible garden. There is at present a building site next door, but we didn't find it too intrusive. It was perfect for our grown up family, with room to be together and spread out. It was very comfortable with everything you could need. Fantastic property in every way. It was our second visit and we hope to make a 3rd visit next year ! Also ideal for our little dog, the garden is 100% secure despite being SO amazing and SO BIG!

First class bungalow equipped with everything you might need and more. Garden is stunning but the current building site adjoining the property is noisy during the day. I am show tranquility will return when the development is completed. The owners are delightful and the welcome goodies were much appreciated. Thank you

We had a fabulous few days in this stunning holiday cottage, thoroughly enjoyed exploring Topsham, Sidmouth, Exmouth and Exeter Cathedral. Owners were really helpful and thoughtful, would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous garden for the dog, totally safe and enclosed. The house was delightful, well equipped and had everything we could possibly need. We have just returned from a wonderful and relaxing two week stay at the property. The property was very comfortable and very well equipped with everything you could need and spotlessly clean on arrival. There was plenty of space for my husband and I along with three teenagers and our dog. The garden was gorgeous and very secure for our dog which mRead moreade an enormous difference. A beautiful property with every amenity you might need. The photos do not do this property justice its bigger and better. Worked well with elderly aunt and teenager. Location though walking distance to Topsham was so quiet. Lots to do in the area.

We have just returned from a most relaxing and enjoyable week in this clean, well equipped and comfortable bungalow, situated in its own large, secluded garden. The location was good for local walks, places to eat and exploring further afield. The owners were very helpful and everything was organised and to hand.

Another wonderful stay at Highfield. Weather kind so was able to enjoy garden. Dog loves running around and exploring. We only wanted a relaxing break away from home and this was the exact place to be. A short walk away and you have the convenience of a shop and a nice walk for the dog.
