Impressive and beautifully presented detached family house sat in an elevated position with fabulous views over Exeter, Dartmoor and The Blackdown Hills. Just a short drive will bring you into Exeter city centre where you will find an abundance of shops, pubs, and restaurants for you to explore, in addition to the historic Cathedral. Perfect for nature lovers with walks to explore in the Clyst Valley Regional Park. Take the passenger ferry from Topsham across the Exe estuary for a bite to eat at one of two idyllic waterside pubs. Sidmouth, Exmouth and Budleigh beaches, on the South Coast are within 7 miles.

Enter through the gates onto the large driveway. The entrance opens into the hall with cloakroom and cupboard space to store shoes along with a handy WC. Off to your left is the lounge with comfy reclining sofas, a feature window seat and a characterful brick fireplace with wood burner, making this this a warm and welcoming room. Curl up and watch your favourite film on the Smart TV/DVD after a busy day exploring. Another door in the hallway leads to the newly furbished children's play-room with table football and a lovely dolls house. Heading back to the hallway which leads you through to a stunning open-plan kitchen/diner with bi-folding doors opening out onto the large level lawn and gorgeous vista across the open countryside. The kitchen is well-equipped with every convenience and an island unit with two seats which allows this to be a great social space, with a large Range master double oven with warming oven and grill, large induction hob, microwave, filter coffee machine, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A utility room just off the kitchen houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. The kitchen/diner also has a snug area with sofa and wall mounted TV.  The dining area seats eight comfortably and great for more formal meals. A snug room sits off the dining room where you can enjoy games, crafting or just sit quietly and read, this room also has bi-fold doors that open up to the kitchen/diner to extend the area. Heading upstairs the landing area with a beautiful sky light is spacious and sitting off this are four spacious bedrooms. One master king-size with fitted wardrobes, drawers and a seating area, along with fabulous views from the Juliette balcony and its own en-suite shower room with shower and WC. Next is a twin room with plenty of storage space, and one further double with views, fitted wardrobes as well as its on en-suite shower room with shower and WC. Lastly is the second twin room with ample storage and great views. The family bathroom completes the accommodation and has a freestanding roll top bath, separate shower and WC.

Stepping outside, the rear garden is a delight with ample room for children to play as well as a large patio where you can have a BBQ, toast marshmallows on the fire pit or just enjoy eating al fresco. At the front is a garden area and large driveway providing off-road parking for up to six cars.

Comfortable house with everything you could possibly want. Amazing views. The property is up a lane no matter which way you approach so be aware if you have a very large car. Owners are very helpful.

My family and myself thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hilltop over the Easter break. The hosts were very welcoming, helpful and have a lovely home which has everything you need and more! The recent addition of a games room was a lovely touch and kept our family entertained with some fun board games and quizes!
