A spacious bay fronted Grade II listed cottage in this delightful area of Brixham and within walking distance of the sandy beach at St Mary's Bay and a short stroll to shops and pub.

The picturesque fishing town of Brixham is the perfect destination for a trip away. Whether you are visiting with friends or taking a family holiday, there is plenty for you to do. Horsepool Cottage, with its wood burner and cosy lounge area, is a welcoming base to return to after a day exploring. Situated just off the main road it is in a great location with access to transport links, local restaurants and shops.

Fire up the wood burner and spend an evening enjoying the warmth it offers or sit out on the raised decked area with a glass of wine. Whichever you choose, it is easy to make yourself at home in this delightful, Grade II listed cottage. With neutral tones throughout and a bay window at the front, the property is light and airy. There is a handy WC located on the ground floor and bathroom with shower over the bath on the first floor. Reached by a cottage style staircase, the double bedroom features a charming ornamental fireplace whilst the twin room, which has the option of becoming a super king-size bed on request, offers views to the rear of the property.

The cottage is located just 1.5 miles from Brixham Harbour and its famous fish market, making it a must for you to visit. Once there you’ll be eager to try one of Brixham’s many seafood restaurants boasting fresh, locally-caught fish. There is also a shingled beach and scenic coastal paths to explore. Paignton Zoo is only 5 miles away and offers a fun-filled day out for all the family whatever the weather, and with over 2500 animals, it’s easy to see why.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Had a Fabulous time! Great location, was about a 15 minute straight walk to the harbour and town! Parking was a definite plus! Cottage was immaculate and garden is a little sun trap! If you are eating out give The Prince William a try, you cant book but worth waiting for a table! Greenway is also a Wonderful day out with breathtaking views over to Read moredittisham and if you can take a boat over and have a drink at the pub on the harbour wall!! We had a great break at this lovely cottage. Had nice walks to the Marina and early morning walks around nearby St Marys park with our little dog. The bed was very comfy and the cottage is nicely renovated and in an ideal spot for visiting areas of South Devon. We would both recommend and stay again.

Great little cottage in an ideal spot for walking to and from the beautiful quaint harbour , we would definitely recommend booking restaurants as in busy times you cant get in the good places . Lovely cottage in convenient location for Brixham. Chinese restaurant at the end of the road recommended. Spar Shop 2 min walk, very useful. Plenty to do in surrounding area. Recommend Broadsands Beach and the Paignton-Dartmouth steam train.

A lovely cottage about a twenty minute walk to the harbour which is the main focus of the area. Having it's own parking bay is a huge bonus. We had a lovely time at Horsepool Cottage, beautifully decorated and the garden was a lovely sun trap. The local Spa was very handy, if you like walking then the walk to Brixham is fine but is uphill coming back, there was a playing field near the church which was excellent for dog walking and our dog had a lovely time meeting lots of new friends.
