We stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely stay. It felt like a home from home and was a great base from which to travel to the various local attractions. We went to Combe Haven and also Lundy Island, both of which were very enjoyable. The location was so quiet and peaceful and felt like a proper country retreat. We'd definitely come and stay again.

A very spacious and beautifully presented cottage. The owners have quite clearly thought about what anyone might need. Wonderful having a balcony from the bedroom on the first floor with lovely views across uninterrupted countryside. Having said that Barnstaple is only a 10 minute drive away. Very dog friendly too. Peaceful and very comfortable.

Beautifully spacious and equipped accommodation, great view, not at all over-looked (except by cows and sheep), generous and friendly welcome, feeling of splendid isolation, yet only 10 minutes from a supermarket. We had (mostly) good weather, and used it as a base for exploring coastal walks with the dogs; they loved it too.
