A picturesque retreat, nestled in an elevated position with beautiful countryside views, it creates the perfect romantic bolt hole for couples to enjoy all year round.
A gorgeous shepherd’s hut surrounded by lush countryside, this little hideaway takes everything you know about camping and rockets it to a whole new level. Lovingly designed with an eye for detail, this bespoke shepherd’s hut is set within the owner's grounds and provides an idyllic base to escape everyday life for a while. Take a solo retreat with the dog or romantic getaway for two, the property combines the best of simplistic living and luxurious home comforts to create the ultimate hideaway.
Head up the steps and enter the hut. Parcelling everything you could need into one skilfully laid design, each bit of space has been cleverly utilised. With a well-equipped kitchen complete with oven, hob and fridge, you can look forward to mouth-watering home-cooked meals. A pull-down double bed, ingeniously concealed behind a false wall, is located at the far end of the hut beneath the window, and there is even an en-suite shower and WC. Snuggle up inside on a winter’s night with the wood burner cracking happily away, or sit outside in summer in your own enclosed garden area watching sheep and ponies graze in the paddocks beyond.
Just outside of Lympstone village, you can relax in your hideaway or make use of the nearby shops and eateries. If you fancy treating yourself, celebrated chef Michael Caines has a restaurant in Lympstone, and the village harbour is perfect for a stroll afterwards. A stone’s throw from the River Exe, plan a walk along the estuary trail stretching from Exmouth to Exeter or take to the South West Coast Path for endless views. For a day in the city, Exeter is 13 miles away.
Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
