This property is located in the village of Northam in North Devon, which enjoys a fantastic position in easy of reach of the beach at Westward Ho!, the picturesque fishing village of Appledore, and the harbour town of Bideford. Westward Ho! is famous for its huge sandy beach, where adventurous holiday-makers may like to book a surfing lesson at the beachside surf academy. Appledore, with its pretty village quay, and a choice of eateries, is the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon stroll, watching the boats and perhaps enjoying an ice cream from the popular local producer; Hockings. Bideford, meanwhile is an attractive town with cobbled streets, interesting independent shops, and the town harbour from where visitors can take a number of enjoyable boat trips.
The upside-down layout of this property means that the two of the three bedrooms, a double and a twin room, are located on the ground floor. In addition to the bedrooms, guests will also find the bathroom with a shower-over-bath and WC. The property’s second lounge is also downstairs, a relaxing and spacious room, with sliding doors leading out to the garden, a sofa-bed, TV/DVD. Upstairs, guests will find the light-filled open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with its far-reaching views across the sea. The sofas here are positioned so as to make the most of these views, as well as to enjoy the TV/DVD. The dining table seats six, and the kitchen area is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, and dishwasher. The washing machine and tumble dryer are housed in the garage. The third bedroom is on the first floor, a spacious double room with delightful views over Northam Burrows Country Park. This room benefits from an en-suite shower room with WC.
Outside, there is a pleasant garden which is mainly set to lawn, with patioed seating area adjacent to the house, for which garden furniture and a BBQ are provided. There is ample off-road parking available, and guests are able to use the garage for securely storing bicycles, surfboards, etc.
