Cosy up in front of the fire in the lounge/dining area of this ground floor apartment, where relaxing tones invite you to switch off and enjoy the peace. After rustling up a delicious meal in the well-equipped kitchen you can dine in style at the table which overlooks the magnificent Marwood Hill Gardens. Sleep well in the calming bedroom which is elegantly designed and features traditional furniture, before waking up and enjoying a cup of tea whilst feasting your eyes on your verdant surroundings.

It may be hard to leave your idyllic setting, but even more beauty is waiting to be discovered not far from home. Beautiful beaches line the coastline; feel the sand on your feet and the sea breeze in your hair at Saunton Sands (9 miles away) and explore the dunes and burrows for a seaside adventure. For breathtaking vantage points of the dramatic cliffs and crashing waves, venture onto the South West Coast Path - begin at Baggy Point, 11 miles from home, for a well-trodden route and treat yourself to a cream tea, cream first. Slightly further away at 19 miles from Marwood, Lynton and Lynmouth are the perfect places to enjoy fish and chips on the harbour after riding the Cliff Railway.

The apartment has everything you need. On arrival there is a loaf bread,a pint of milk teabags and a little butter waiting for you. I think this a lovely touch. The views are amazing and the apartment it's self is very comfortable and homely. We very much enjoyed our time at Marwood hill garden apartment, I would also like to add how much our littlRead moree dog Poppie enjoyed it too. Hide

The apartment was just right for us and had all the facilities we needed. We loved the surroundings and had wonderful walks around the garden with our dog. It takes a bit of getting use to the roads around the village and was a shame that it didn't have a local pub or small shop but not too much of a issue. We went out of season so the tea room wasRead more closed but a plus was we had the garden mostly to ourselves, most of the time. The gardeners were around so allowed us to look at the plants on sale. Hide

A spacious and comfortable apartment in an idyllic setting; the view over the garden is magnificent. The wood burning stove was much appreciated on a chilly autumn evening and made the lounge really cosy. We come down at least once a year to visit family and I have no doubt we will be looking to stay here again.
