Three-storey property located in the heart of Westward Ho! with two miles of golden sandy beach to enjoy, this is the ultimate property for the whole family to enjoy their summer holiday.

Tucked away in a quiet location, this stunning property is situated in the heart of Westward Ho!, You could even enjoy a car free holiday as everything is conveniently located enjoy all the amenities this seaside town has to offer. Within a few minutes’ walk are two miles of golden sandy beach where you can enjoy typical seaside activities, from rock-pooling to learning to surf at the local surf school, and the Northam Burrows Country Park where you can explore the sand dunes. For those who enjoy a longer walk, there is access to the South West Coast Path close by. Also within a short stroll are numerous cafes, pubs and restaurants for eating out and food shops for when you wish to stay in! Alternatively, if you wish to explore further afield, you are a short drive away from the pretty fishing village of Appledore and historic port town of Bideford, in addition to the many local attractions including The Big Sheep, RHS Rosemoor, Dartington Crystal and The Milky Way.

Upon entering this three-storey property, you will find yourself in the entrance hall, a perfect place to hang coats and store shoes after a long walk on the beach. The stylish kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer, and is the perfect place to cook up a family meal. The open-plan lounge/diner has a Smart TV and DVD along with a selection of board games for all the family to enjoy, and the dining table is large enough to sit everyone comfortably. The lounge area has access to the garden via patio doors. Also, on the ground floor is a conveniently located WC off the hallway. Heading up to the first floor you will find two bedrooms, a king-size with Smart TV and a twin and also a bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Taking the next set of stairs to the second floor you’ll find the master bedroom, a king-size with Smart TV and en-suite with shower and WC. Far-reaching views of the beach and Northam Burrows can be enjoyed from the first floor.

Heading outside you’ll find a fully enclosed garden with patio and gravelled area. With garden furniture this is the perfect place to enjoy an alfresco breakfast or glass of wine on those warm summer evenings. At the front of the property you will also find an outside tap, perfect for muddy boots and paws. There is allocated off-road parking for one car and roadside or local car parks nearby.

We enjoyed our week in this cottage. It's in the centre so you have everything on your doorstep. Parking is great and plenty of room for us and the dogs and the back garden is a bonus when you have dogs. Nice and warm on chilly nights, nothing not to like. Baby gate on the bottom of the stairs is a genius idea to stop the dogs going upstairs.

Comfortable and well equipped house. Close to sea front but worth noting that between may and September dogs can only go on the north part of the beach which could be difficult for guests with limited mobility. A nice touch by the owners to leave welcome packs of teabags, biscuits and dog treats, thank you!

Great location close to amenities and sea front with good parking. Disappointing that on arrival the house was not very clean, marks on some bedding and towels. Would not visit again.

Lovely location could do with a deep clean as black mould round shower tray extractor fan in main bathroom not working. As there is no windows it smelt damp reported fan to cleaners

The location of the cottage is brilliant . Bonus having space for the car too . We were able to use the visitors space as it was vacant for our second car otherwise would have been an added cost to park for the week. The kitchen has everything in it , washing machine a bonus with a baby. We arrived on the Saturday and had no internet until the ThurRead moresday when the new router was delivered- not good when some of our party needed to do some work . Lovely, extremely well-equipped, homely property in fantastic location. So local to beach (less than 10 min walk) but set back in quiet area - best of both worlds. We were family of 5 plus dog and couldnt have asked for more. Excellent stay for 2 weeks. Mixed party aged from 86 down to 2 with dogs. We all had a fantastic time. Accommodation was excellent, facilities great - good sized freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, comfy beds, garden great to relax in at the end of the day - good mix of sunny and shady bits. Very tastefully decorated- felt light and airy. Would defiRead morenitely recommend.
