Wonderful cottage and lovely location with views down across a valley. Sheep and lambs everywhere, primroses and daffodils in the banks. Barnstaple, Bideford and Instow were our favourite places. Owner Sue very welcoming and always smiling. Good welcome pack too. Great holiday.

Thank you so much to Sue, the cottage was beautiful. Spotlessly clean and very spacious. Far beyond what we expected! The milk, biscuits and fruit were a lovely gesture. I so hope we can return here soon!

We were delighted with our holiday cottage. Sue and John the owners, couldn't have done more to ensure our holiday went without a hitch. Sue was always available for advice and local information. We will most certainly recommend Netherdowns Shippon to family and friends.

Fabulous Cottage! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.. The cottage is very well laid out especially for disabled guests. Comfortable beds, reclining couches, everything you need in the kitchen, easy wheel chair access throughout (entry via patio). Sue our host was extremely welcoming and helpful and the flowers, fruit bowl and milk in the fridge were aRead more delightful addition. This cottage was a great place to come back to after a day either in the country or at the beach. Hide

This is a well equipped, comfortable cottage that offers tranquil rural views. Access is via. narrow lanes and this can be challenging when meeting traffic (especially buses!) It is a great location offering easy access to the sandy beaches of North Devon and other attractions.
