This delightful cottage offers the perfect blend of chocolate box charm and fresh, contemporary style and space.

West of the River Otter and conveniently located on the A3052 between Sidmouth and Exeter, the charming village of Newton Poppleford is the ideal base for an adventure. Choose from exhilarating walks, fossil finding and rock pooling along the Jurassic coast, sampling fresh fish from quirky seafront restaurants. Combining period features with contemporary style, this thatched cottage is a haven for large families. Start your day sipping coffee at the breakfast bar, sizzling bacon in the well-equipped kitchen or stepping through the French doors to eat alfresco. Nice property with many original features. Super kitchen and lovely garden. Handy for getting to other places. On a main road which was busy even at night.

Newon Poppleford is a perfect base for exploring the beautiful east Devon coast and countryside! The property itself is spacious throughout with a large kitchen/diner and two large reception rooms, one of which has an amazing fireplace feature. There is a large garden and ample places for parking. A downside is the nearness of the main road to the Read moreproperty. It boasts three large, quite quirky bedrooms, but only one toilet contained in its main bathroom. Overall, a good family holiday base. Hide

A fantastic property, great location, well equipped and extremely spacious. Perfect for us (family of four) and grandparents. There was a teething issue as the heating wasn't working when we arrived (not what you need when a storm is brewing but thankfullya lovely fireplace in the front room) but Paul, the owner, had an engineer sent first thing thRead moree next day to fix it so we were soon toasty warm.
