You will love the cosiness of settling on the sofa to watch TV or a DVD. Couples can enjoy a quiet dinner at the dining table set for two, prepared in the bijou but well-equipped kitchen. Wander out to the patio area to sit and enjoy an early morning coffee, or perhaps a little stargazing in the evening with a glass of wine, thanks to the area’s unspoilt skies.

Keen walkers will enjoy the direct access to a public footpath and it may be possible to walk the owner’s land by prior permission and with any dogs kept on a lead. There is a pleasant walk into Buckland Brewer (2 miles) where you might like to take advantage of the popular pub and traditional butchers. The town of Bideford is just 9 miles away, offering a twice weekly market, shops, pubs and restaurants. The cottage is located in a beautiful setting with fantastic views. So peaceful when sitting in the garden with a morning coffee. Inside it is to a very high standard in terms of furnishings and cleanliness. Comfortable bed, perfect shower and spacious living/kitchen. The owners are lovely and went out of their way to make my parents comfortable.

A lovely cottage in the middle of nowhere requiring several miles of driving down very narrow roads to get there. Once there its a very quiet & peaceful location.

Ideal cottage for two + dog , very quiet in a very rural location . Outdoor sitting area just right in the afternoon and evening to enjoy a bottle of merlot. Plenty of character in the cottage and location .

Patchwork cottage was just simply lovely, all amenities you needed where supplied, the location is wonderful, waking looking over the picturesque scenery, although it feels like you are a long way out due to single track lanes you really are not far from anything.
