In summer, it is possible to take the ferry across the estuary to the village of Instow, with its sandy beach and yacht club. To one end of the beach, there is access to Northam Burrows Country Park, a mix of saltmarsh, sand dunes and grassland which is home to horses and sheep and makes a wonderful place for enjoying quiet walks.

The lounge is a light-filled space, thanks to the doors which open out onto the property’s well-sized patioed veranda. There is comfortable seating here, as well as a TV and DVD. The property’s kitchen is equally spacious, has a contemporary feel and is well-equipped with an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as a good-sized dining table. The king-size master bedroom has views out across the neighbouring fields, whilst the second bedroom is a comfortable twin room. The bathroom has a WC and benefits from both a bath and separate shower cubicle.
Outside the property, there is a good-sized enclosed patio, which is accessed via the lounge and enjoys far-reaching views across the countryside to the sea. It is the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or the sunset in the evenings.
