A beautifully presented luxury seaside home with the popular seaside town of Westward Ho! only a short stroll away.
Sitting half a mile back from the glorious sands of Westward Ho! and the beautiful Northam Burrows Country Park, the contemporary weather-boarded villa of Puttsborough is a perfect coastal retreat. Spacious and modern, this lovely beach house offers an excellent base for lovers of the wild and wonderful Atlantic coastline. Grab your beach things and walk down to the sparkling water for happy days spent on the sands, then return to this stylish home-from-home for a family BBQ as the sun sets.
Waking up in the seaside-inspired bedrooms is a real delight. Getting you in the mood for the day ahead, pop downstairs to enjoy a leisurely breakfast, perhaps some freshly-squeezed orange juice and pancakes on the terrace. In cooler weather, head inside to the open-plan living space with the terrace doors open for a soft breeze, and at night, curl up in front of the crackling wood burner with a good book before turning in for the night.
If the beach at Westward Ho! leaves you wanting more, pop up in the car to Croyde (19 miles) and Woolacombe (22 miles) where you will find even more opportunities for swimming, surfing or just lying back on the sand. The South West Coast Path is accessible from most points along the coast, and the hilly open moorland of Exmoor National Park is a 27-mile drive away. The harbour town of Bideford is 4 miles away, as is the fishing village of Appledore with its quaint streets and lovely little shops. Walk along the quayside and watch the fishing boats return with the day’s catch or take the ferry across to Instow to visit another traditional seaside resort.
