Stunning 5-star seafront property sleeping ten guests, enjoying a fantastic position on Ilfracombe’s attractive harbour, with all the town’s facilities within walking distance.

Situated overlooking Ilfracombe seafront with prime views of the Bristol Channel over to Wales, this property offers an idyllic stay to a large family or group of guests. Thoughtfully decorated with two lounges to relax in, this luxury property gives you the chance to embrace life in this fishing town with a comfortable home to come back to. Wake up to the sound of waves lapping against the shore, grab your morning coffee and head out to the terraced patio to watch the town come to life.

Whether you’re unwinding in the ground floor lounge with access to the seafront patio or the first floor living area that has a beautiful bay window as well as a balcony, you’re never far from the water here. In the colder months the wood burner keeps the first floor living room toasty, making it an ideal place to snuggle up in after a day of exploring the town. Bag the king-size room that has an en-suite bathroom with a freestanding bath to have a soak in, before heading down for dinner in the spacious kitchen diner that has an additional wood burner for added ambience.

If modern art is your thing, Damien Hirst’s sculpture Verity is a must-see and is only 485 metres from the cottage, and from there you can book a boat trip to Lundy Island for a wildlife tour. If you’d rather stay on land, Ilfracombe Aquarium (320 metres) is popular with all ages, or pop to Combe Martin Dinosaur Park (7 miles) for some more fun. Ilfracombe’s beach is only 160 metres away, but if you prefer a bigger beach Woolacombe (8 miles) boasts a 3-mile stretch of sands.

Please note there is a refundable £250 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

Or you can stay put and enjoy the beach for swimming, sunbathing or the surf academy. There are colour-coded maps on Northam Burrows road displaying the parts of the beach where dogs are allowed in the summer months. Perhaps a stroll over to Northam Burrows Country Park behind the beach may also appeal.

Quayfield House is an extremely comfortable home away from home. The latest addition of a Finnish style BBQ cabin was brilliant. It means the patio area can be used all year round. The views are stunning and the house is perfect for families of all ages.

Fabulous property in a great location. Could not fault the cleanliness or equipment, messages the caretaker for a very minor issue and it was dealt with very quickly.

The location is wonderful. The view out of the window kept us entertained. We all found the beds to be very comfortable. Not having parking was a bit of a pain, but we usually managed to park in the car park below the house.

Excellent house , a bit of a trek from car to house with luggage you need to be fairly fit, house well equipped two rooms are quite small if you do not have children, outside area poor needs clearing of weeds and garden area needs sorting overgrown neglected pots not a good selling point.

This house is in an amazing position above the busy harbour in Ilfracombe. Everything in the house needed for a family gathering and lots to do in Ilfracombe for all ages. Only downside is unloading and parking, as the nearest you can get a car to the house is 50m away down a hill, and no street parking available when we were there so had to pay foRead morer parking in local car park for the week. Not cheap with 3 cars Hide
