The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a cosy space that opens onto an enclosed patio with garden furniture and a BBQ – perfect for dining out on warm evenings. The lounge itself has soft pink pastel tones combined with wooden finishes to create a warm, homely space. The kitchen is fully-equipped with an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and even a dishwasher so no one has to wash up! Upstairs, the king-size bedroom (which can be made into a twin room upon request) is spacious and plush with access to a bathroom with shower over bath and WC. One child can be accommodated on a temporary single fold away bed by arrangement with the owner. There is also a garage for the storage of bikes or water sport equipment and a separate utility room with washer/dryer.
The market town of Bideford is just 3.5 miles from the property, where you can pick up the MS Oldenburg which will take you across for an unforgettable trip to Lundy Island – a beautiful coastal location with free-roaming wildlife and awe-inspiring landscapes. For stunning sandy beaches and a challenging surf, head to Westward Ho! beach 6 miles from the property and spend the day soaking up the sun. Stay until sunset and you’ll witness the gorgeous orange glow set over the horizon - a lovely experience in romantic surroundings.
