Located in the English Riviera town of Brixham, just a short walk from the town’s harbour. The town has a long-standing maritime history and the harbour remains the heart of the town, and offers visitors a choice of boat trips, from relaxing tours of Torbay, accompanied fishing trips, and a regular service across the bay to the resort town of Torquay. There is plenty to see and do, from beaches to restaurants, to scuba and even a fascinating replica of Sir Francis Drake’s ship The Golden Hind. Further afield, the towns of Paignton and Torquay are also popular destinations with visitors, and other attractions include the golden sandy beaches, a zoo, an aquarium, and a wonderful steam railway which runs through the Dart Valley.

As you arrive at this delightful coastal retreat, the off-road parking is situated to the front of the property. As you walk around to the front door the lobby is a great space to leave your coats and boots behind. Following on through into the property you are greeted by the marvellous open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which boasts under floor heating. Pull back the bi-folding doors in the lounge and relish the spectacular views this property boasts of the town. The lounge is also the perfect place for relaxing, snuggled up with your favourite book, watch a film or two with the all the family on the Smart TV, DVD or enjoy a game or movie on the PlayStation 3. The kitchen comprises of an electric oven, gas hob and coffee machine. To the rear of the kitchen is a utility room with storage space for your weekly shop, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dyer. Head on upstairs where you will find the three bedrooms, the master suite with a king-size bed, balcony area with table and chairs and en-suite shower room with WC, and two twin rooms. You will also find the bathroom here with shower over bath and WC.

Venture outside to the beautiful south facing rear garden, which offers superb views over the town,  and has been furnished with a table and chairs as well as two sofas, a coffee table and also a charcoal BBQ. The property offers off-road parking for one car.

We had a lovely stay at Salmon Leap. Very comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Great outside space for a barbecue in the evening and the added bonus of a designated parking space. Just a short stroll to the harbour, not so easy coming back up though. This will be our first choice for our next visit to Brixham.

Salmon Leap is just lovely. The furnishings and fixtures have obviously been picked with care and attention to detail. We had a brilliant holiday and it was a pleasure to come back to this charming house with beautiful outside views. Hope to return soon.

Lovely cottage in a great location for exploring the local area. It had everything you needed and we all particularly loved the outside space, we made use of it dispite the weather not being the warmest.

This accommodation comes highly recommended. Very comfortable and kept to a high standard. Centrally located for bars, shops and restaurants. Lovely area for walks and easy access to other places like Dartmouth, Paignton and Torquay.

A fabulous find. Open plan kitchen, dining and living area worked perfectly for Christmas - could cook and be social at the same time. Very spacious, clean and high standard. Great view over the town and loved the glass frontage - I imagine the patio and easy access in and out of the living area would be fab in the summer. Easy access to the harbouRead morer and shops - dont be put off by the steep steps down, the Mason Arms is on the way up and provides a good stop. Def one on our list to return to. Hide

A superbly equipped house in a great location, just a few mins walk from Brixham harbour. The car park space is a massive plus too! The view from the garden is spectacular. We found the property had all the equipment we needed and it was absolutely perfect forget myself, my wife and our 2 very small children. This is a lovely property. Great space indoor & out. Close to all Brixham has to offer but very steep steps if you take the short route. Fine if you are fit & able. The car space is great. Would highly recommend this property.

The property was clean and comfortable with the addition of a parking space which is a must and a garden which was a lovely bonus. We have stayed in Brixham a couple of times and especially enjoyed this time as we had great weather, highly recommend Liberty's Cocktail Bar and Pepper Shack (fantastic caribbean food.

Cottage and location lovely and did enjoy our stay. A fridge in the kitchen would have been good rather than having to keep going into the utility but otherwise a good holiday and lovely accommodation. There are a lot of steps to go up and down to the town so we have all got a bit fitter. Bus services are good to Torquay and Paignton so easy to getRead more around without using the car. Hide

Fabulous house, beautifully decorated and equipped. Ideal for our girls relaxing weekend. Central, short walk down to the harbour but very steep climb back up, could go the longer way round to avoid that. We loved it, would go back again.

What a fantastic find this cottage was. Absolutely stunning accommodation, everything you could possibly need and more. The view from lounge/kitchen overlooking the garden and beyond was so lovely. Loved sitting having morning cuppa looking at that view.
