This North Devon chalet/bungalow style holiday home is close to sandy beaches, shops pubs and restaurants. With the added benefit of a parking space and lovely patio gardens with views across the bay.

Set in the pretty little seaside village of Croyde known to be the mecca of surfing and stunning coastal walks. With an array of independent surf and craft shops and a variety of local cuisine on offer, this is a great place to relax and enjoy time off with loved ones. Only 4.5 miles away is the beautiful seaside village of Woolacombe with 3 miles of sandy beach and Saunton Sands only 1 mile away is well known for its surfing, burrows and has a 36-hole golf course which is open to visitors. Travelling further afield 24 miles and visit Lynton and Lynmouth set in the stunning Exmoor National Park with its mysterious woodland walks and catch a glimpse of the iconic Exmoor ponies and red deer.

Stepping into this tastefully decorated holiday home you will be in the open-plan lounge/kitchen. Fabulously designed with a sumptuous corner sofa and a Smart TV to enjoy relaxing and catching up on movies that you want to watch but never seem to have time for. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and a Nespresso coffee maker. You can also listen to music through Alexa whilst you are cooking a hearty breakfast to start your fun-packed days out at the beach. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and en-suite shower room with shower and WC and a triple bunk bedroom with single over double and sea views. The shower room completes the accommodation with a shower and WC.

To the front of the property is an enclosed garden laid to lawn and at the back of the property is a large, decked area with patio furniture and a charcoal BBQ to sit and enjoy dining alfresco on those warmer evenings watching the sun setting. There is a parking space for one car.

This surfer and his retired parents had a fantastic time staying here. Perfectly located for easy access to the beach, the village and coastal walks, while also being peaceful and secluded. When we arrived at the property took a while to find as didnt realise it was up the narrow lane that runs behind the new housing estate. We tried to get into number 6 in the new housing estate property was clean, tidy and well maintained. Close to pubs and beach.

This was our 10th holiday in croyde wonderful place to stay, good pubs, good eating places, great walks and views and amazing beach. This was our second stay at sunbird. We had a week there and could not fault it. It set away from the road, nice and quiet but close to beach and pubs etc Ideal for small families. This was our second stay at Sunbird at Seabirds and it was as enjoyable as the first stay. Were already booked to stay again later this year and are already looking at dates to stay again next year. Such a great cottage in a quiet area yet convenient for all that Croyde has to offer.

A fantastic functional, comfortable place to call home for a week. A short walk into town and down to the water. A sun trap of a deck, even in Feb, with views over the fences to the water. The dog friendly yard is safe to let the dog roam free and wraps the property. A nice touch of a welcome bottle of wine and crisps too, and information on local Read moreplaces to eat and drink. Fabulous break at Sunbirds cottage. Perfect location walking distance to the village and the beach. All essentials provided at the cottage and a bonus of good wifi and phone connectivity. Our dog loved the cottage too. Weve already booked again for next year.

Great dog friendly property. Really good location for us and nice and quiet. Everything we needed was provided, the kitchen was well equipped and the property was very modern and clean. The decked area at the back was a lovely sun trap and the grassed little garden to the front was ideal for the dog. A 15 minute walk into the centre of the village Read moremade it nice and accessible but far enough away to feel away from the hustle and bustle. Nice welcome pack provided. We booked this cottage as it was on a single level due to my wife having a back injury which was fine, however we feel that a non-slip shower mat would be helpful. Also, it would be helpful to have a small shelf or tray in the en-suite shower cubicle for toiletries, and maybe some bigger towels.

Fantastic home ideally situated in the lovely village of Croyde. Both the beach and village centre within a 5 minute walk you really dont need to use the car once youve arrived. All the amenities you need in a self catering home

Excellent accommodation, nicely decorated with all mod cons that you could need. Location is perfect for getting into the village and to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent at seabirds and hope to return again next year. Brilliant hosts, thank you for making our stay very comfortable and enjoyable.
