Our family of 5 had a brilliant time in this converted barn. The lounge is massive so provided lots of space for us to enjoy time together and allow our 10 year old to open his presents on his birthday. The location is only a mile and a half away from the coast so ideal for running/exploring the South West Coast Path and rock pools. Only 20 minutesRead more to the attractions in Plymouth so its a really quiet location near other busier places! A much needed rest for our family, thank you. Hide

This cottage is in a lovely quiet countryside setting but in reality, it is only a short drive to the coast and Plymouth. Easy access to the south coast and Cornwall. Second stay for us this year. The cottage is large with lots of space inside and out. It feels as though it is in the middle of nowhere but in reality is only a few minutes drive from a lovely beach and a couple of good beach cafes and about 20 minutes from Plymouth. A lovely big, warm cottage with good outside space. Stunning views over the countryside. Plenty of wildlife to watch. Close to some nice beaches and good walks. Take wellies! Within easy reach of Plymouth and a good base for touring around Devon and into Cornwall. It would benefit from some contents being upgraded.

We have been visiting Keepings for the last seven years. It is in a really good location and there is plenty of room for all the family. One of our favourite holiday cottages.

We've stayed here a few times now and were always very satisfied. The isolated location with its peace and tranquility is a real plus here compared to most other properties. The hosts are very friendly and ready to help if there are any problems. The CAMRA rated Odd Wheel pub down the hill is a real bonus for meals out and fine Ales.
